They captured Martha Brae in hopes that she would take them to the cave, Martha Brae tricked them and took them deep inside a cave that had no treasure. She then disappeared and left them lost in the cave. By the time the Spaniards could make their way out of the cave the river had changed its course and flooded the cave, trapping the Spaniards inside, to be buried forever, in the belly of the river, that had swallowed the cave. And that is how River Matibereon came to be called Martha Brae.

In this story, Teenie, visits Martha Brae, the witch, to get help to deal with some bullies.
